In 1915, Dr. R. Tait McKenzie of the University of Pennsylvania sculpted the 18-inch Boy Scout. This statue is produced by Tim Maslyn of Maslyn Studios and is only offered through the Cradle of Liberty Boy Scout Council of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Beginning in 1978, first as an apprentice then later assistant to the late Princeton University Professor Emeritus Joseph Brown (1909-1985), Timothy A. Maslyn's career as a professional sculptor flourished. During his time with Professor Joseph Brown, Mr. Maslyn gained extensive knowledge and expertise in working with and producing his sculptures.
